Love means Love, Hate means Hate

Can't believe it but after so many year I still LOVE HANAMICHI SAKURAGI from the manga SlamDunk. Oh Boy, he is jus too adorable. =x

His child-like innocence, perseverance and straight-forward character really made him stood out as a main character in SLAMDUNK!

He is so likable~~ *pinches his cheek* If I needed a friend to go crazy with, it will definitely be him. LOL

The mixture of silliness, pride, violence and gluttony only made his character more animated and lively. Reading SLAMDUNK back then in secondary school, he was really a source of motivation to me. He does have wonderful traits
we can learn from. Never Give Up!!

HANABISHI RECCA is just a normal and simple boy, nothing specially attractive or cute compared to SAKURAGI, but nevertheless, he has captured my heart too. It all began with his unique ability to conjure flames out of no where. LOL

Ok, it was due to the 9 dragons that cohabited in his body. A ninja boy from another dimension whose tribe has the special ability to conjure flames. These 9 dragons in his body are pretty much souls of his ancestors and father who had incompleted task or longings to kins which caused them to tranform into these fire dragons. *ok, I will stop here before I retell the whole manga*

I was fascinated by his unique ability and the dragons' power. Well as the manga progressed, the mangaka did improve his drawing on Recca. Boyish, determined and focused looking boy with a dash of cat-like cuteness. Was so capitvated by these burning flames of his that decided to name myself after him and then now I'm Recca too.~^^~ His passion and drive to conquer mountain after mountain is similar to that of SAKURAGI's too. Perhaps that's why I love him too.

Now GINTA here is drawn by the same manga artist as Flame of Recca, thus the resemblance. This could be one of the reasons I got attracted to him too. Let's say, Ginta is the younger and mini version of Recca. Coupled with his extremely cute cat-like face, I just fell in love immediately.

What's more, I really love reading books and manga's related to fantasy. MÄR just blew me off my feet. The rich display of creativity in the transformation of his weapon made me just fall deeper in LOVE with him. Again another character with the never say die attitude. It's something that really attracts me. I kept a tail back in my school days because I was so inspired by his hairstyle. Well for those who play FF7 or know Advert Child will notice he has this Cloud-like hair style too. Oh yea and that bring me to my next favourite character, he is none other than CLOUD STRIFE.

I love this guy too. *whispers* He is on my desktop display at my
workplace. =D I stare at him everyday and he looks cooling back at me in those cool shades of his. HAHA

The reason why I started to notice him was because of his buster sword. My NUMBER ONE favourite weapon in all the FF series. I remember the days back in JC... erm... I kept doodling him and his sword on every table I sat at. His cool composure and baby-like innocent faced is definitely A* for me. Besides he has this special aura emitting from him, this mysterious sadness in his eyes.

Similarly, he too, tries his very best, gives his 100% or more to and commits to his task. Just like Jay Chou's song, "认真的男人最魅力".
Thus, I've become his captive too.
Cloud looks so bishie, if I could I would wanna look like him like this every other day, though I think my hair will give way and fall off due to the bleaching and crazy loads of hair product. Not to mention, the time needed to stylized this hairdo.

SQUALL LEONHEART! What's his attraction? I tell you it's the scar on his face. And he looks most particularly attractive and sexy in this post with his gunblade and half face.

Oh yes, a gunblade is my 2nd favourite weapon in FF. The least cool weapon in FF history i would say it's the microphones... in FFX-2 songstress sphere. He may have a cool, clam composure and whatever attitude but at the end of the day he still aces his missions.

Speak of a man with scar on his face, RUROUNI KENSHIN is another hot guy not to miss. Flaming red hair, emotionless and cold poker face and his secret almighty and powerful sword techniques that slowly weakens his petite little body.

Definitely another man with a mission, plays the bad guy for the sake of a revolution. Maker of peace or harbinger of Death? I let you decide for yourself.

Ok, nothing to do with red hair or scars anymore but the samurai-fetish. Yes, I love the samurai costumes.
AKIRA and HOUTARU are my favourites in the series Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Akira is special because he blinded himself to climb greater heights and it's amazing how he could duel so well despite being blind. His technique "梦冰月天" (a skill similar to frozen prison, encase something in ice) is so beautiful and merciless. He is acts like an ice man, but deep down hot-blooded and passionate.

Houtaru is a dreamy and sleepy fellow but way more heartless, cruel and stubborn than Akira. Skills are on par with Akira or maybe better. What attracted me to him was his use of flame in his battling techniques. "Hellflame" and even fire phoenix. Also, the use of "blood mask", similar to a ritual to power up.

Last but not least all these guys share the ultimate same traits of passion and perseverance + super good looks, that's why I LOVE LOVE LOVE them~! I ended up writting so much. =p

Dishonest Food Vendor with Bad Customer Service in Changi Village Food Centre

3 kind of egg vegetable Dish 三王蛋元菜

It's dinner time, so I met up with my family for dinner and we decided to go the Changi Village's Food Centre which was nearest to my home.

It's not the first time we have been here to have a meal, but it will definitely be out last time patronizing this stall. The stall's location is as stated above on the receipt,
Changi Seafood Crab Specialist Blk 3 Changi Village Road #01-63 Singapore 500003

The first time we had out dinner at the exact same stall was about 2 months ago. It was an unpleasant experience because we were bugged constantly to foot the bill throughout the course of our meal. My family and I couldn't even have our meal in peace. So my father questioned about their "bad service", and so their reply was quite acceptable and reasonable as they had incidents with customers who ran off after the meal without paying.

*we are extremely tolerant and reasonable people*

2 other groups of Chinese patrons who were seated at the neighbouring tables were so pissed off with the incessant bugging from the waitress that they paid their bills and stormed off leaving the food untouched on the table. Those food looked expensive, there were shells, prawns, crabs, BBQ sambal stingray and other seafood.

Today's second encounter with the similar service standards, or even worst, really left a horrible impression on me. Yes, they hurried us to foot the bill immediately again upon having done serving the dishes we ordered. If they were so worried, they could have changed the system to paying right after we ordered our food but they didn't. They chose to interrupt in the middle of our meal again.

This action is considered a taboo in chinese customs as it indirectly implies that the stall owner looks down on their customers, and seemingly suggesting that the patrons are poor and they can't pay up or they will run off after having eaten the meal. Now do you understand why the previous 2 groups of chinese patrons left in anger. Their way of customer service is insensitive to the traditional chinese cultures and customs. Ironically, the food stall belongs to a Chinese. Perhaps some modern Chinese.

Apart from the taboo to chinese customs, it's common sense and basic manners and etiquette to not interrupt others when they are having a meal... You learn that in kindergartens!!!

Ok, so my dad looks through the receipt and lo and behold!!!! $15 for a plate of stir fry Chinese spinach with wolfberries. Now my dad questions,

" It says here on the receipt that it's 三王蛋元菜 (a vegetable dish cooked with normal egg, salted egg and century egg).
We are having stir fry vegetable with wolfberries here *points* Did you make a mistake?"

The waitress said, " Oh it's cooked using the essence of the 3 kinds of egg!! So it's still 三王蛋元菜!!"

I was HORRIFIED!! She was lying blatantly before me!! And I retorted, " Do you even see ANY TRACE of EGGS in there?" *stare WIDED EYE at the waitress* So they came up with a new and futuristic way of cooking eggs in their shell and yet squeezed the essence of the egg out or did they change it to hard boiled egg, hard boiled salted egg and hard boiled century egg and reused and kept it in a soup stock?? Please google a picture of a 3 egg spinach dish, and in any vaguest picture you can see the 3 kinds of EGGS!!! (look at the picture I googled right at the top)

She replies, " but the chef says it's 三王蛋元菜, so it is." Yea, someone else might have ordered it but definately not us and we did not order nor ate that dish and we still had to pay up that extra $9 for the bogus dish. And you know what, the Hor Fun which cost only $6 had sliced fish, sotong, prawn and meat. I would have shoved them into their graves if my dad hadn't stopped me. * I have Authorized authoritative power*

The issue here isn't paying the extra money, but how dishonest and unscrupulous these stall holders get now just to cheat the money out of their customers. Remember the Famous Tiger Prawn incident at Novena Food?!

Well, at the least if you want to venture into a service industry which depend heavily on customers, make your customers happy. Only good food won't keep us. Learn the etiquette and be careful of taboos.
